Hast Du Dich schon mal gefragt, warum Du nur so langsam Fortschritt zu machen scheinst !? Mich frustriert es manchmal, wie langsam ich vorankomme !

Gestern bin ich in einem Artikel über die Biospären verträgliche Gewinnung von Energie über dieses Aussage gestolpert. Ich musste dabei an meine Einstellung zu meinem persönlichen Fortschritt denken. Ich finde den Gedanken interessant ( und beruhigend ), dass es vorgesehen ist, dass mein Fortschritt langsam vor sich geht, damit mein "System" damit umgehen kann, sprich dass ein schneller Fortschritt für mich nicht verträglich wäre...

How to loose 4 pounds in one day !!

Today I finally realized how easy it is to loose weight. Incredible I haven't realized it any sooner !

Do you want to know how !?

Well, I ordered some clothes a while ago and finally got them on Sunday. Of course I tried them on that night. One of the things I got myself was a dark blue pair of jeans and I surely couldn't wait to wear them to work. Which was today.

Well, what should I say: I put them on this morning and they just about fit.

So I went to work and pursued my business. Sometime later in the afternoon I realized how loose those jeans were on me then. I mean I could pull them down without opening the zipper ( surely did not try it in my office this time ;-) ) !!

Amazing, isn't it ! I must have lost about 4 pounds this morning, for it surely has nothing to do with the fact of them being stretch jeans and having just been washed and very tight therefore !!

Ahh, it makes you feel so goooood when you lost some weight... LOL

Alptraum - Nightmare

Hattest Du je einen Alptraum, in dem Du Dich nackt oder um anständiger zu sein in Unterwäsche in der Öffentlichkeit präsentiert hast ? Nun, bei mir ist er wahr geworden, zumindest halb. Auf dem Weg zur Arbeit hat es angefangen zu regnen und war so windig, dass ich innerhalb von 10 m eine bis zu den Oberschenkeln pitschnasse Hose hatte, von den Schuhen ganz abgesehen.

Schon mal mit nassen Hosen im Büro gesessen ? Ganz tolles Gefühl !! Nachdem ich im ganzen Büro nach einem Fön gesucht und gefragt habe und keiner auftauchte, habe ich meinen Einzelbürobonus ausgespielt: Ich hab die Bürotür von innen zugesperrt, meine Hose ausgezogen und mich ohne meine Hose auf die Arbeit gestürzt ! ;-) Ich fand's irgendwie zum Todlachen.

Glücklicherweise arbeite ich aber in der Tourismusbranche und kam auf die Idee mir bei einem unserer Hotels einen Fön zu besorgen. Hätte ja schlecht den ganzen Tag eingesperrt im Büro verbringen können, oder? ;-)

Did you ever have a night mare in which you run around naked or to be more modest in your undies in public ? Well, it became true for me, halfways at least. On the way to work it started raining and it was so windy that within 30 feet my pants were soaking wet up to my thighs, aside from my shoes.

Ever sat in the office with wet pants ? Great feeling !! After I searched and asked for a blow dryer everywhere and couldn't find one, I used the advantage of having my own office: I locked the office door from inside, took off my pants and started working without it ! ;-) I was laughing so hard.

Luckily I work in the tourism business, so I organized a blow dryer from one of our hotels. Couldn't have stayed locked up in my office all day, could I ? ;-)

Heissluftglühen - Hot-air balloon glowing

Letzten Samstag wollten zwei Freundinnen und ich mal was anderes unternehmen und so sind wir auf einem Fliegerfest auf dem Land gelandet. Es wurden diverseste Flugobjekte ausgestellt, es gab Rundflüge im Helikopter ( hätte mich sehr gereizt, aber bei den Preisen suche ich mir lieber einen Millionär, der einen eigenen hat ;-) ) und reichlich leckeres Essen. Doch wegen all dem waren wir nicht gekommen, sondern für das Heissluftglühen.

Für alle, die wie ich, noch nie was davon gehört haben: hier handelt es sich um Heissluftballons, die allerdings nicht in die Lüfte gehen, sondern am Boden im Kreis aufgestellt werden und dann im Rhytmus der ertönenden Musik ihre Ballons anfeuern, was am nächtlichen Himmel wirklich gigantisch aussieht. Leider war es an dem Abend zu windig, so dass es zu gefährlich war alle Ballons aufzublasen.

Schade, aber 1. haben wir dennoch einen Eindruck davon bekommen und wissen, dass wir das nochmal im großen Stil sehen wollen und 2. wurden wir anschliessend nochmal total entschädigt:

Was Ihr hier seht ist kein verrückt gewordenes Glühwürmchen, sondern ein kleiner Modellhelikopter, der mit verschiedenen farbigen Lichtern den Nachthimmel im Takt eines peppigen 80er-Jahre-Hits bemalte, um dann in der Mitte der Show auch noch 3 Minuten lang Feuerwerkskörper abzuschiessen. Irre, was der Typ so drauf hatte !!

Insgesamt war es wirklich ein superschöner Abend, der sehr viel Spass gemacht hat - danke Mädels !

Fazit: Öfter mal etwas zu tun, was man noch nie getan hat, macht das Leben einfach interessanter !!

Last Saturday two friends and I wanted to do something different. So we ended up at a flight show in the country side. There were all kinds of different flying objects, round trips by helicopter ( would really have liked that, but for that price I rather get to know a millionaire who has his own ! ;-) ) and lots of yummy food. But this is not what we came for, but for the hot-air balloon glowing (?).

For all who like me have never heard of that before: this means hot-air balloons, that stay on the ground in a circle and that fire up their balloons to the rhythm of some music, which looks gigantic in the night sky. Unfortunately this evening it was so windy, they couldn't set up all the balloons.

A pity, but 1. we got an impression and know we want to see it again and 2. we were absolutely compensated for it later on:

What you see on the second photo is not a glowworm going crazy but a little model helicopter that painted the night sky with all kinds of coloured lights to the beat of an 80ties pop hit and that in the middle of the show shot of fireworks for about 3 minutes. Incredible what that guy was able to do !!

So it was a really wunderful evening with lots of fun - thanks, girls !

Remember: To do something you have never done before every once in a while makes life definitely more interesting !!

Es ist soweit - There we go

Wie beeinflussbar ich doch bin ! Ich hatte mir nie Gedanken darüber gemacht einen eigenen Blog anzulegen, bis mein Bruder mich darauf ansprach und mich dann auch noch "verpflichete" einen Eintrag in seinem zu schreiben.

Und nun ist es soweit, ich ergebe mich der nicht mehr ganz so neuen technischen Errungenschaft und erstelle mein eigenes Online-Tagebuch. Hoffentlich macht es Euch soviel Spass darin zu lesen wie mir es zu schreiben !
